This fabulous mansion is set aside in hopes that it will be restored for use as the Theology of the Body Retreat and Healing Center, directed by Fr. Robert Young and Dr. Bob Schuchts. Fr. Young and Dr. Schuchts have a special ministry in service of our nation’s priests and seminarians.
The front balcony of the old mansion overlooks 58 beautiful acres planned to become the Shrine of the Martyrs of La Florida. The shrine and the retreat house together will bring a gift of great spiritual treasure to our nation, so hungry for God. The healing and retreat center will bring people closer to the Lord through the graces of the Faith. The same Faith our martyrs died for.
